The Opposition has demanded a dialogue on the Agnipath army recruitment scheme, unemployment and farmers’ points within the upcoming Monsoon session of Parliament, Congress chief in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury mentioned on Saturday after Speaker Om Birla held an all-party assembly right here. The assembly was held at Parliament premises within the night and was attended by ground leaders of a number of political events.
“We now have demanded that dialogue must be held on Agnipath, unemployment and points associated to farmers and enough time be given to the Opposition to lift these points within the Home,” Chowdhury informed reporters later. The Speaker holds this customary all-party assembly earlier than the beginning of each parliament session.
The Monsoon session of Parliament will start on July 18.
