As per the rankings, the Indian Institute of Know-how-Kanpur retained its fifth rank, Banaras Hindu College eleventh, Aligarh Muslim College nineteenth, IIT-BHU twenty ninth whereas Amity College (a personal college) in Gautam Buddh Nagar acquired forty second rank. Banaras Hindu College (BHU), Aligarh Muslim College (AMU) and IIT- BHU slipped by one place as in comparison with their final yr's rankings.
