Siddaramaiah reacted to the incident saying he understands the ache the households have been going by. He mentioned he didn't go to earlier because the scenario was delicate and he didn't need to politicise it.

“In such conditions, one shouldn't do something to disturb the peace and concord or trigger pointless incitement. Peace and concord was disturbed as a result of inaction of the police. I gave cash as compensation in my private capability,” the chief mentioned.

He added that the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering-led Karnataka authorities ought to have finished this for the aggrieved households.
