A grievance petition has been filed towards Jaipur-based social activist Sanjay Garg for posting “objectionable remarks” towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath on social media.
The complainant, Vaibhav Mishra, a resident of Muzaffarpur, alleged in his petition on Wednesday that Garg’s current social media posts towards the PM, and the 2 CMs had been extremely objectionable and that he ought to be booked underneath sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The Chief Judicial Justice of the Peace Courtroom (CJM), Muzaffarpur will hear the matter on July 22, Mishra’s lawyer Kamlesh Kumar stated, including that particulars of the social media posts have been talked about within the grievance.
