New Delhi:

A bunch of scholars from Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru College right this moment claimed they had been attacked by safety guards employed by the institute whereas peacefully demanding the discharge of scholarship cash which they insist has been withheld for over two years now. Half a dozen college students have reportedly been injured throughout clashes between members of the BJP-linked scholar organisation Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, or ABVP, and the campus safety guards.

5 college students had gone to the scholarship division at round 11 am which is the authorized time to investigate about scholar scholarships, ABVP JNU President Rohit Kumar stated, including that the guards abused the scholars and misbehaved with them. "Such is the situation of this division that simply 4 workers are left now whereas there was 17 earlier. The scholars have been struggling for over two years now. They are not getting non-NET scholarships, MCM (Advantage-cum-Means) and even JRF," he stated.

The injured college students say they'll submit a grievance to the Delhi Police quickly.

Visuals from the spot present a gaggle of uniformed safety guards pushing and attempting to restrain a gaggle of protesting college students inside what seems to be like an administrative workplace. Some movies present blood stains on the ground, bloody dressing within the dustbins, and shattered glass scattered on the ground.

A number of college students, displaying their accidents, claimed they had been "focused" by safety guards and suffered extreme accidents.

The protesting college students alleged that officers typically misbehave, mislead them, and do not tackle their complaints even after giving them time. They are saying they will not budge from the workplace until the scholarship funds are launched to the scholars.

The college administration hasn't issued an announcement up to now.
