After a shameful incident of six males beating up a woman after which parading her bare at Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur was reported, Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Celebration chief OP Rajbhar stirred up one other controversy by saying “such incidents preserve taking place as there may be not sufficient police power to guard each home”.
The incident passed off on August 17 on the metropolis forest of Hamirpur district. A video of the incident has gone viral, during which the lady and her lover are seen spending time collectively when six males accost them. Police have arrested three of the accused whereas the remaining are on the run.
“The inhabitants of UP is 25 crore as it's a huge state and there may be not sufficient police to protect each home. Such incidents preserve taking place,” Rajbhar stated in a response to the incident.
He added: “The legislation follows its course and the federal government does its work. There isn't a jungle raj in UP and Mayawati’s assertion shouldn't be justified as such incidents occurred when her authorities was in energy.”
Within the video, it may be seen that six males assault the lady and her lover, following which they beat up the lady and power her to strip bare. The lads are heard abusing the lady and demanding cash from the couple by beating them up with belts and sticks.
In line with police, three males seen within the video have been arrested. The accused are seen molesting the lady however this was not an incident of gangrape, police added.
