A faculty principal was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified individuals in Maharashtra's Nagpur metropolis who've demanded Rs 30 lakh ransom for his launch, police mentioned on Saturday.
Police have fashioned a number of groups to hint Pradeep Motiramani, the principal of the Mahatma Gandhi Major Faculty located within the Jaripatka space, and his kidnappers, an officer mentioned.
Pradeep Motiramani, 50, had left his home on Friday evening on his two-wheeler. When he didn't return house until late at evening, his daughter contacted him on his cell phone, mentioned the officer.
He mentioned the decision was attended by a person who demanded Rs 30 lakh ransom for the discharge of Pradeep Motiramani.
The varsity principal's relations approached the Jaripatka police station on early Saturday morning.
The cell phone is switched off after the ransom name, the officer mentioned.
He mentioned Pradeep Motiramani's two-wheeler was discovered parked in entrance of a hospital within the Mankapur space. His cell phone location reveals the Mouda space, round 40 km from Nagpur metropolis.
A case was registered by Jaripatka police.
