Madhya Pradesh Residence Minister Narottam Mishra on Saturday termed movie personalities Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah and Javed Akhtar as brokers of Tukde-Tukde gang - a pejorative time period coined by supporters of the BJP to focus on its critics.
The Madhya Pradesh minister accused the 2 actors and the lyricist of solely being vocal about points in BJP-ruled states.
"Folks like Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah and Javed Akhtar are the brokers of sleeper cell of Tukde-Tukde gang who create ruckus solely on incidents that occur in BJP-ruled states," Mr Mishra mentioned.

Ms Azmi has been very vocal in regards to the Bilkis Bano case wherein the convicts have been freed by the Gujarat authorities, 15 years after they have been jailed.
"I've no phrases (for Bilkis Bano) besides that I'm deeply ashamed. I've no different phrases," Ms Azmi had mentioned in an interview to NDTV.
BJP chief and minister, Mr Mishra accused Ms Azmi of not being vocal about incidents that befell in Congress-ruled states.
"Shabana Azmi didn't say something about Kanhaiya Lal being murdered in Rajasthan or the lady who was burnt alive in Jharkhand," Mr Mishra mentioned.
"The Tukde-Tukde gang or the Award-Wapsi gang don't see these in any respect," he added. "It exposes their unhealthy mentality. How can anybody name them civilised or secular?"
Ms Azmi lately joined girls's teams and college students to protest towards the choice to launch the 11 convicts within the Bilkis Bano case.
