“He (Kejriwal) shouldn't be fearful about the way forward for the kids. He solely worries about one factor — black cash that's flowing to him," he alleged.

The BJP chief claimed the report reveals that the personal agency determined the phrases and circumstances for the development of lecture rooms in collusion with the federal government.

“You didn't dismiss the corrupt minister who's in jail. The vigilance report has uncovered the corruption within the training division too. The Directorate of Vigilance is a part of the Delhi authorities. Are you able to weak shoulders raise this burden. Are you able to dismiss the corrupt minister?" Bhatia mentioned.

The vigilance directorate has advisable a probe by a “specialised company" into alleged irregularities within the development of lecture rooms for Delhi authorities colleges, claiming it concerned a “rip-off of Rs 1,300 crore", official sources mentioned on Friday.

A report of the Delhi authorities’s vigilance directorate recommending the probe has been submitted to the chief secretary, they mentioned.

The CVC, in a report dated February 17, 2020, highlighted “obtrusive irregularities" within the development of over 2,400 lecture rooms in Delhi authorities colleges by the PWD.

The CVC had despatched the report back to the Delhi authorities’s vigilance directorate in search of its feedback on the matter in February 2020.
