Foxconn confirmed Wednesday an outbreak of "violence" at its huge plant in central China, after footage emerged of staff clashing with safety personnel in protests on the manufacturing unit.
In an announcement, the corporate mentioned staff had complained about pay and circumstances on the plant, however denied it had housed new recruits with Covid-positive employees on the Zhengzhou manufacturing unit, the world's largest producer of iPhones.
