The AAP authorities has proposed 4 dates for holding the elections of MCD mayor and despatched the proposal to Lt Governor V Ok Saxena, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia stated on Thursday.
In a tweet, Sisodia stated the Municipal Company of Delhi is functioning and not using a mayor for previous eight months and any additional delay was not good.
“A proposal has been despatched to the LG for holding mayoral election in Delhi on January 18, 20, 21 or 24. He has been requested that the MCD has been working and not using a mayor for the final eight months. Subsequently it was not good to delay it additional," Sisodia stated.

The assembly was adjourned with out electing new mayor and deputy mayor of town.
