Former Military chief Gen Deepak Kapoor and lots of retired prime officers of the defence companies joined the Rahul Gandhi-led ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ on Sunday which is passing by way of Haryana.

Amid extreme chilly and fog, the march resumed within the morning from Dodwa in Karnal’s Nilokheri area and entered the Kurukshetra district later within the day. Scores of individuals joined the Yatra because it handed by way of Karnal within the morning, which can also be the house constituency of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

Senior occasion leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Randeep Singh Surjewala and Kumari Selja are a part of the Yatra in its Haryana leg.

Notably, Gen Deepak Kapoor (retd) had taken over took over because the Chief of Military Employees on 30 September 2007.

The march lined over 130 km in its first leg in Haryana from December 21 to 23, passing by way of Nuh, Gurugram and Faridabad districts. It re-entered Haryana’s Panipat Thursday night from Uttar Pradesh.

The yatra, which began from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7, will finish after reaching Srinagar by January 30 with Gandhi hoisting the nationwide flag there. The march has to date lined Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
