"Whereas defending the general public, ASI Shambhu ji didn't even care about his life. He turned a martyr. We're pleased with him. There is no such thing as a worth for his life, however in his honor, we are going to give an honorarium of 1 crore rupees to his household," Mr Kejriwal stated.

The Delhi Police, in a shifting homage, praised Shambhu Dayal for not letting the thief escape.
