Rani Mukerji and Shah Rukh Khan co-starred in a number of movies collectively together with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (all three directed by Karan Johar), Chalte Chalte, Paheli and Veer-Zaara amongst others.
Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, impressed by true occasions, showcases the story of an immigrant Indian mom Devika Chatterjee (performed by Rani Mukerji), who lives in Norway along with her husband and her two youngsters. Her life takes a drastic flip after her kids are taken away the Norwegian foster care system merely due to cultural variations. She decides to combat all the way in which for her kids.
Directed by Ashima Chibber and produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Leisure, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway launched in theatres on Friday.
Reviewing the movie for NDTV, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote this about Rani's efficiency: "Rani Mukerji, on her half, lets it rip and the movie journeys on its excesses. Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is an overheated affair that sucks the air out of an intrinsically shifting story that deserved infinitely higher."
