Senior AAP chief Atishi on Saturday lashed out on the BJP and the Centre, accusing them of spreading lies about jailed former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and making an attempt to defame him.
This comes a day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) mentioned it has connected two immovable belongings owned by Sisodia and his spouse, aside from financial institution deposits value Rs 11.49 lakh, within the Delhi excise policy-linked cash laundering case.
At a press convention right here, Atishi alleged that as per an ED doc, Sisodia has belongings value Rs 81 lakh.
”The BJP is spreading lies about Delhi’s former deputy CM Manish Sisodia by telling the media that the ED connected Manish Sisodia’s belongings amounting to Rs 52 crores within the excise case, whereas the ED doc says that Sisodia has complete belongings of Rs 81 lakh solely,” she mentioned.
The AAP chief additional alleged that the BJP is ”making an attempt to defame Sisodia” and asserted that her occasion was ”not terrified of the Centre and its companies”.
”The BJP needs to tarnish the picture of Manish Sisodia as a result of he's the one who supplied high quality training to each little one in Delhi. The BJP ought to perceive that AAP shouldn't be terrified of them or their companies. The BJP ought to apologise to Sisodia and his household,” she added.
