A twister touched down close to Chicago’s O’Hare Worldwide Airport following warnings of extreme climate for town, the Nationwide Climate Service mentioned. A confirmed twister was on the bottom round 7 pm Wednesday, the Nationwide Climate Service in Chicago mentioned.
It had earlier issued two twister warnings for parts of town. Twister sirens sounded no less than twice throughout Chicago, warning folks to take cowl.
“This twister has been touching the bottom intermittently to this point and is transferring east. There are extra circulations alongside the road south of O’Hare. Search shelter if within the warned space," it mentioned.
