The Lt Governor, in session with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has allotted the Companies and Vigilance departments to Atishi along with the portfolios she is presently holding
Delhi Cupboard minister Atishi has been allotted Vigilance and Companies departments following the competent authority’s approval, in keeping with an official notification issued on Monday.
With this, the variety of portfolios held by Atishi has risen to 14.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had on August 8 made the advice to allocate the 2 departments, which have been earlier dealt with by Cupboard minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, to Atishi.
The Lt Governor, in session with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has allotted the Companies and Vigilance departments to Atishi along with the portfolios she is presently holding, the notification issued by the Normal Administration Division (GAD) acknowledged.
The advice of the chief minister to allocate the brand new portfolios to Atishi was acquired by the LG’s workplace on August 8, officers mentioned.
Lt Governor V Okay Saxena gave his approval on August 12, the day the Authorities of Nationwide Capital Territory of Delhi (Modification) Act, 2023 was notified, they mentioned.
In addition to the 2 new departments, Atishi holds cost of 12 others together with Schooling, Finance, Income, Public Works Division, Girls and Baby Growth, Energy, Tourism, and Planning.
