Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday attacked the Opposition for “talking one-two strains" in Parliament on Manipur violence and “shedding crocodile tears" when the federal government addressed the difficulty within the Home.
“Opposition walked out when Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke. They didn't take part within the dialogue (on Manipur). Rahul Gandhi simply spoke one or two strains and went off," Sitharaman mentioned throughout an interview with CNN ’s managing editor Zakka Jacob.

A fortnight in the past, Sitharaman tore into the Opposition over not letting Parliament perform by “altering objective posts" over the Manipur disaster. “Folks have come to Manipur, spoken to folks there and are available again. We wish to hear what they heard from folks in Manipur," Sitharaman informed reporters.
“Who's stopping them from bringing this up in Parliament? They've been asking for a dialogue in Parliament, what stops them? It's clear the Opposition has been shedding crocodile tears. If their issues had been real, they might have allowed parliament dialogue," Sitharaman had mentioned.
A bunch of MPs of the newly-formed Opposition bloc, ‘INDIA’, had gone to Manipur for 2 days in July and met displaced folks in aid camps.
