Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Celebration chief Om Prakash Rajbhar on Sunday expressed confidence that he together with BJP’s Dara Singh Chauhan, who misplaced the Ghosi bypoll not too long ago, will likely be made ministers within the Uttar Pradesh authorities.

Chauhan, who resigned from the Samajwadi Celebration and joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Celebration (BJP) in July, misplaced the bypoll to the SP’s Sudhakar Singh by a margin of 42,759 votes on Friday.

The SBSP chief, a distinguished OBC chief in japanese Uttar Pradesh, was a key campaigner for Chauhan in Ghosi beneath Mau district which has a considerable Rajbhar caste vote.

Requested to react to opposition leaders speculating that he and Chauhan is not going to be made ministers after the bypoll outcome, Rajbhar mentioned, “Why not? We'll develop into ministers."

“These opposition persons are not out ‘maliks’ (heads). We're within the NDA and the ‘maliks’ of NDA are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Residence Minister Amit Shah and celebration chief J P Nadda," Rajbhar mentioned.

After the SBSP’s return to the NDA in July, Rajbhar had hinted that he and Chauhan could also be inducted into Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s cupboard.

“Those that are making these statements (SBSP’s ouster from NDA) are ignorant. After the 2024 basic election outcomes, they (SP) will fall flat on the bottom," he added.
